RESET
On April 16, 2014, the Sewol ferry sank in South Korea, taking 304 lives out of 476 passengers. Most of the victims were high school students who were told to stay in their cabins instead of evacuating. The disaster devastated the country and left a lasting scar on the national conscience.
Three years later, after intense public pressure and major political change, the Sewol was raised from the West Sea.
