Min Bae is an award-winning filmmaker and Film Production Professor at the University of Windsor, as well as the Founder of Cactus Pictures®. Since 1990, he has pursued a lifelong passion for visual storytelling, blending artistry and technical mastery across film production, cinematography, and fine arts. His creative vision has been shaped by his education and professional experiences in Montreal, France, and Korea.

Min’s body of work spans a range of internationally recognized independent films, including Situation (1995), Off Sync (2000), Where Are We (2004), Two Islands (2007), and the experimental film Qausuittuq (2020), which was showcased and celebrated at festivals worldwide.

His most recent feature-length documentary, Reset (2022), set in Seoul, Korea, marked a significant milestone in his career. Serving as writer, director, and cinematographer, Min successfully completed its international distribution to critical acclaim.

Continuing his exploration of human experience and cinematic form, Min is currently in pre-production for his upcoming feature documentary One Way, slated to begin filming in the summer of 2026.
